This project is designed as a browser based application.  As such it doesn't care whether its running on a Windows PC, Mac, iPad, or any other tablet that supports a HTML5 browser.

A web-site as an application usually requires continual Internet connectivity.  This one is designed so that once the main page is loaded most all the features are present so it could continue to function even if Internet connectivity is lost.

Clearly import and export will only work when there is connectivity to the server.  Printing will probably require server connectivity.  But navigation through the pedigree or family screens and editing data are available even when off-line.
